Update: The container arrived Friday. We are grateful for all the volunteers who helped box, tape, weigh, catalog and load the supplies onto the container. Thanks to John Ciccio, who loaned us a truck from All-Star Appliance. Thanks also to everyone at the Bible Church for giving us storage and office space. And especially, thanks to Christian World Outreach (CWO) for giving us space on the container!
On Saturday, Feb. 11, volunteers from the Bible Church packed hunger packs for CWO to send on the container. Hand to Hand for Haiti had volunteers continue packing and loading. Thanks to Micheline, Elisabeth, Renee, Billy, Eddy, and Eddy Jr. for giving this difficult task the final big push it needed. Thanks also to Dick, Dave, Joellen, John, Bill, Milan, and others who helped a lot on Friday. Thanks to God for good weather, despite the snowy forecasts.The items are packed and ready to go! Thanks to all of you, our ministry partners in Haiti will receive medical supplies, food, clothing, shoes, furniture, and tools. Praise the Lord!
The container left Waterbury on Tuesday the 14th at 9 a.m. It is on its way to Haiti!

Recently Joseph Michel posted an appeal for financial help for several projects, including a medical mission Feb. 15-22 and shipping a container of supplies to Haiti.We need your help packing the container! There are lots and lots of goods (Hallelujah!) waiting at The Bible Church to go to Haiti. The container will arrive in Waterbury on the 10th. We can use people from now until the 10th to pack boxes and weigh them, and to load the container on the 10th (and possibly a couple of days after that). The Bible Church offices and garage are at 64 Dixon St., Waterbury. (They also lend office space to Hand to Hand for Haiti, so that is our address, too.)
